Our last specialty show for the 2011 show season will be December 31, 2011 at the Tippecanoe Co. Fairgrounds on Teal Rd. in Lafayette, IN. Entries for the specialty show are due by noon with the show to start at 1pm. The Golden Prairie RBA all breeds show will begin at 4pm and Dutch will be a starting breed. We are planning a small carry-in lunch from 12-1pm. Please bring your own dinnerware service and a dish large enough for approx. 25-30 people to share. We may not have access to electricity, so please bring items that do not need to be warmed up to enjoy. If you are planning to participate in the carry-in lunch and the specialty show, please e-mail Kelli (haydayhills AT aol DOT com) so that we have an idea of numbers for the lunch.
Our last show of the year is also the location for our annual meeting. This year is an election year. If you intend to run for office, please send your name and the office you are pursuing to Kelli (haydayhills AT aol DOT com). We will elect the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and 3 Directors. All officers must be current members of the ARBA and are expected to attend and assist with as many of the specialty shows as possible. You need not be present to be considered for an office. Nominations must be received by Dec. 30, 2011. Out-going officers are listed on the the officer page here.
Edited to Add: I almost forgot, Susie Feller will be selling and installing Hair Feathers and Tinsel at the New Year’s Eve show as well. Hair Feathers will be discounted to $10 and Tinsel to $5. Part of each sale will be donated to our IDDRC Scholarship fund.
